Since last year, we’ve been tracking the progress of Alexandra Thornton, the Highland Park Middle School student who has become one of the top female weightlifters in the country for her age and weight class.

Now, Alex is in the running for a spot on the cover of USA Weightlifting magazine, and she needs your help by voting here. There are 25 photos in the running to be the next magazine cover shot, and Alex is the first one you’ll see. The voting closes at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

By the way, she will next compete at the National Youth Championships beginning June 12 in Daytona Beach, Fla., looking to add to her extensive collection of medals and records.

UPDATE:

Voting linked has been fixed. Thank you!
