1. Greenhill School graduate John Piermarini is just 20 years old and already running his own sleek Uptown digs, Piermarini Boutique. John, as he tells me, is “shopping for a living.” And no, I’m not remotely jealous.

2. From Scots games to pool parties and family reunions, Park Cities folk seem to love The Hamburger Man. My question: Apart from offering hot dogs on request (says the website) does he have a frankfurter-peddling alter ego? An arch rival, maybe?
