SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU
A woman reported her own dog for biting her on the right hand just after 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 3900 block of Davila Drive.
6 Monday
A vehicle was stolen between 1 and 6 a.m. in the 4600 block of Heatherbrook Drive.
7 Tuesday
The third-row seats were stolen just after 1 p.m. from a vehicle in the 6900 block of Lloyd Valley Lane.
Someone broke a vehicle’s window and took property between 5:15 and 6:25 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Northwest Highway.
Gone missing between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 1 p.m. Nov. 8: property from an unlocked vehicle in the 12000 block of De Or Drive.
8 Wednesday
Between 1 and 5 a.m., property was stolen from a woman’s vehicle at AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in the 3600 block of Inwood Road.
Burglarized around 4 a.m.: the Zio Cecio Italian restaurant in the 4600 block of Lovers Lane.
Burglarized: a vehicle in the 4300 block of Shirley Drive by means of prying open the back window sometime overnight.
Stolen between 6:05 and 7:45 p.m.: property from an unlocked home in the 4800 block of West Lovers Lane.
Property was taken from a vehicle between 10 p.m. Nov 8 and 9 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 12000 block of Tavel Circle. Another vehicle was burglarized at the same location between 5 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 8.
9 Thursday
A shoplifter got away between 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. after stealing property from Bravadas Wigs and Extensions in the 5200 block of Lovers Lane.
A woman’s wallet went missing from her purse at a restaurant between 6 and 7:15 p.m. at The Market at Preston Forest in the 11000 block of Preston Road.
10 Friday
Burglarized: an unlocked home in the 11000 block of Hillcrest Road between 8:30 a.m. and 11:23 a.m.
Between 8:36 and 10:30 p.m., someone reportedly made an unsuccessful attempt to steal a vehicle in the 3800 block of West Northwest Highway.
11 Saturday
Property reportedly went missing overnight from a vehicle at AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in the 3600 block of Inwood Road. The entry method: “unknown means.” The following day, police responded to a case of found property. No word on the relationship between the two incidents.
Between 11:30 a.m. Nov. 11 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 13, the front license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 6400 block of Norway Road.
Arrested: the person who verbally threatened a 56-year-old man at his home in the 7200 block of Northaven Road around 11:30 a.m.
Stolen: currency from a vehicle at the 7-Eleven in the 6800 block of West Northwest Highway between 2:15 and 2:25 p.m.
Packages were stolen from the front porch of a home in the 6400 block of Deloache Avenue. Video footage recorded the incident happening at 6:30 p.m.
12 Sunday
Burglarized just before 1 a.m.: the DSW Shoe Warehouse at Preston Center Plaza.
Property was taken from an unlocked vehicle between 6 p.m. Nov. 12 and 1 a.m. Nov. 13 at the Pavilion Townplace apartments in the 7600 block of West Greenway Boulevard.
