Saint Michael’s Farmer’s Market Opens For the Season

The best little Farmers Market in town opened for the season Saturday, April 26. This is the 14th year the Saint Michael’s Farmers Market has taken place on church grounds located at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at 4344 Colgate Ave. and Douglas Avenue in University Park.

The market was created in 2012 by The Reverend Bob Dannals and the late Guy Griffeth as a way to build community and provide fresh, locally grown and produced food to the community.

During Farmers Market season, you’ll find folks of all ages and backgrounds and pups of all breeds taking in the colorful bounty of seasonal fruits and vegetables, breads, sauces, cheese, and more items produced locally. You can also learn more about the church’s outreach and opportunities to engage. It’s a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

This spring the market will be open every Saturday through Sept. 6. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon.

To learn more about the market, become a vendor or volunteer visit the Saint Michael’s Farmers Market website.

Saint Michael’s Farmers Market is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.
