SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: SWEATER WEATHER?

With a Friday the 13th low of 70 degrees and high of 91 degrees, a man still wore a black sweater while breaking into a woman’s Range Rover before 7:52 p.m. at NorthPark Center.

9 Monday

Before 1:31 p.m., a shoplifter stole fragrances from a store at NorthPark Center. The reporting time of another theft wasn’t available online.

Before 3:57 p.m., a criminal fled from officers during an attempted arrest at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 5:14 p.m.: a hit-and-run wreck in the parking lot at Preston Royal Village.

Burglarized before 9:45 p.m.: a man’s vehicle at NorthPark Center.

10 Tuesday

Overnight before 7:37 a.m., a burglar broke a window to steal from The Winston School on Royal Lane at the Dallas North Tollway.

Before 8:43 p.m.: a vandal damaged a woman’s truck at NorthPark Center.

Before 9:25 p.m., a burglar smashed the window on a man’s vehicle at NorthPark Center and grabbed cash out of it.

Burglarized before 9:58 p.m.: a woman’s vehicle parked at McFadden Dental Implant Center on Lovers Lane.

11 Wednesday

Before 2:30 p.m., a burglar forced entry into a home in the 7200 block of Lupton Circle and stole stuff.

Stolen before 9:12 p.m.: a man’s vehicle from a home in the 8300 block of Westchester Drive.

12 Thursday

Officers responded at 11:13 a.m. to a three-vehicle wreck in the 6500 block of LBJ Freeway. One person died.

Overnight before 12:51 p.m., a burglar stole from a man’s home in the 11200 block of Inwood Road.

Reported at 2:26 p.m.: a vandal destroyed a woman’s property at apartments in the 5800 block of Grassmere Lane.

Burglarized before 9:21 p.m.: a man’s vehicle at Preston Forest Village.

Before 10:37 p.m. at NorthPark Center, a thief broke a window on a man’s vehicle and drove away with it.

Before 10:40 p.m., a vandal did damage at a home in the 5400 block of West Purdue Avenue.

13 Friday

Before 12:22 p.m. at a home in the 7000 block of Northwood Road, an unlucky woman found her vehicle damaged and contents from it stolen.

Stolen before 4:39 p.m.: a man’s vehicle at NorthPark Center. Another vehicle was reported stolen at 8:14 p.m.

Before 4:49 p.m., a porch pirate picked the packages left at the front door of a home in the 5400 block of Farquhar Lane.

Officers responded at 11:40 p.m. to a burglary in progress call at a home in the 9100 block of Preston Road and found a drunk in the street.

14 Saturday

Burglarized before 8:05 a.m.: a woman’s vehicle at a home in the 9600 block of Jourdan Way.

15 Sunday

Arrested at 2:23 p.m.: a 32-year-old man accused of shoplifting at NorthPark Center and possession of marijuana.

Reported at 6:58 p.m.: A prowler on Friday the 13th pinched the packages off the porch of a home in the 6400 block of Mimosa Lane.
