Meeks, Lady Scots Finish Third at Home

In their only home meet of the season, the Highland Park girls earned a spot on the podium as a team.

Highland Park finished third on its home turf on Thursday at the annual HP Invite, scoring a season-high point total in the process.

Tatum Meeks led the Lady Scots by finishing second in the all-around competition. She also was the runner-up on vault and uneven bars, and placed third on balance beam. Lily Overton came in third on bars.

On the boys side, HP placed third in the team standings. Adam Elahmadi was the individual meet champion on vault and horizontal bar, and finished third on rings.

HP will continue its optional meet schedule on Feb. 15 at the Mark Williams Invitational in Euless.
