Aerial West Nile Spraying to Begin Later This Week
Park Cities officials are pressing forward with a plan to combat West Nile with aerial spraying, and that tack could begin later this week.
At this morning’s Highland Park Town Council meeting, Mayor Joel Williams read a prepared statement regarding the decision, adding that he was to meet with other county officials this afternoon to discuss the schedule of the spraying.
“We will respond to the need to best protect our citizens from the ever-increasing threat of West Nile,” Williams said.
The next three nights will also see increased ground spraying in Highland Park and University Park.
