Excellence Is Within Reach.
Finding the right environment for your child’s education makes a world of difference. At Lakehill, you’ll find an environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, stimulates personal growth, and encourages critical thinking and innovation.
Lakehill’s Main Campus is located in Lakewood, and is within easy reach of the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, and Oak Cliff neighborhoods. The Roger L. Perry Campus, located just four miles from the Main Campus, is home to the Warrior Athletic Complex and the Alice and Erle Nye Family Environmental Science Center.
Small class sizes ensure a supportive learning environment and personal attention. Students at Lakehill have all of the opportunities available in a much larger school, but are able to thrive in a supportive setting where they can concentrate on learning. Students benefit from a rigorous academic environment, while being supported by the strong sense of family, community, and spirit that Lakehill provides. As a result, our small school feels very much like a big family.
Lakehill’s tradition of excellence is not confined solely to the classroom. In keeping with Lakehill’s desire to develop well-rounded citizens, students are encouraged to take advantage of a wide variety of extracurricular offerings. Through participation in a myriad of clubs, student organizations, honor societies, athletics, and community service projects, opportunities for assuming leadership roles abound.
By building a solid academic foundation, Lakehill develops confident individuals prepared to succeed wherever their choices lead them. Through an extremely successful college counseling program, all Lakehill graduates attend college and are highly sought after by the nation’s top colleges and universities. Recent acceptances include Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Morehouse College, Northwestern University, Rice University, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt University, and Washington University in St. Louis.
Lakehill Preparatory School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, orientation, or national or ethnic origin. The school is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and is a member of National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
