Goop is Coming! Goop is Coming!
Judge all you want — I am a major Gwyneth Paltrow fan. That’s why I’m excited out of my mind that her company, Goop, is launching a pop-up shop in Highland Park Village on Monday.
The installation will last just a month (through Dec. 14), so get your shopping in while you can. Crazed shoppers like myself can pop in anytime between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
If you don’t know, Goop is Paltrow’s lifestyle blog turned full-fledged company that she launched in 2008.
Throughout the month, Goop will partner with other HPV vendors, such as Number One. The cafe has crafted a special menu for the month with recipes from Paltrow’s cookbook, It’s All Good.
That’s right — you, too, can eat like Gwyneth. (That includes things like “creamy avocado and cacao smoothies” and Middle Eastern turkey burgers, FYI.)
Visitors to the Goop store can expect to see designer names such as Stella McCartney and Monique Lhuillier. The store itself was designed in collaboration with Dallas designer Michelle Nussbaumer, owner of Ceylon et Cie.
“It has been a fabulous journey designing this space for goop’s first pop-up in Texas,” Nussbaumer said. “I envision people lounging around the shoppable pied-a-terre with a cocktail in hand this season.”
