Bestselling Author Pays Tribute to Dallas
On June 4, New York Times bestselling author and 2011 Chick Lit Luncheon keynote speaker Emily Giffin visited the home of Sandy Moore, along with 90 other Chick Lit chicks.
The exclusive reunion was a celebration of Community Partners of Dallas and the release of Giffin’s sixth novel, The One and Only, which has reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
The novel is set in the fictitious town of Walker, Texas, and includes many treats for Dallas readers. Giffin used SMU football as her inspiration, and the book mentions her friends Sandy and Barry Moore, the Dallas Cowboys, and Community Partners of Dallas.
