Restaurant Week is Here

The 25th anniversary of DFW Restaurant week officially starts Monday, August 8, but diners can take advantage of the preview weekend starting today.

Restaurant Week is a long-time fundraiser benefitting the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope and gives restaurants a business boost in the typically slow month of August.

Diners can choose a select Restaurant Week menu from one of almost 100 participating restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties. Approximately 20% of the cost of each meal will be donated to NTFB in the Dallas area or Lena Pope in the Tarrant area.

Participating restaurants in our readership area include Al Biernat’s, Javier’s, Nonna, Fachini, Tulum, and all restaurants at Eataly, which will host the 25th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration Tuesday, August 9.

Restaurant Week is partnering with Eataly and San Pellegrino for a unique storewide tasting party featuring San Pellegrino sodas and waters, regional Italian wines, refreshing spritzes, and chef-crafted bites. Guests can enjoy classic Italian tastings like caviar, housemade pasta cooked in a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel, Roman-style pizza, caprese salad, and more. This is a ticketed event, so buy your tickets here.

Please remember to tip your servers generously, as they work just as hard for the discounted menu prices offered during Restaurant Week as they do for full-priced menus.
