SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: DUMPSTER DIAGNOSIS

Before 6:28 p.m. April 24, a vandal damaged a large metal trash bin outside Quest Diagnostics Forest Lane on Central Expressway.

18 Monday

Arrested at 3:22 a.m.: a 49-year-old man accused of public intoxication near homes in the 5000 block of Harvest Hill Road.

Shortly before 11:48 a.m., a thief took a man’s vehicle from NorthPark Center.

Arrested at 3:52 p.m.: a 61-year-old woman accused of stealing from an office at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 6:50 p.m.: a failed theft. The crook tried to steal from the Walgreens at Hillcrest Road and Northwest Highway.

19 Tuesday

Stolen before 1:41 p.m.: landscaping tools from a home in the 5400 block of Pebblebrook Drive.

Reported at 7:34 p.m.: a vehicle burglary at the Semones Family YMCA (Town North) on Northaven Road.

20 Wednesday

Stolen before 11:18 a.m.: a man’s vehicle from a home in the 10400 block of Shadow Bend Drive.

21 Thursday

Reported at 11:53 a.m.: an April 20 theft from a man at NorthPark Center.

Arrested at 2:58 p.m.: a 74-year-old man accused of pointing a deadly weapon at a man at a home in the 10600 home of Park Preston Drive.

Reported at 5:06 p.m.: a thief snatched the phone from a woman’s hand at a home in the 6800 block of Mimosa Lane.

Arrested at 8:23 p.m.: a 28-year-old woman accused of shoplifting from a store at NorthPark Center, biting three people, and having a glass pipe for drug consumption and .5 grams of methamphetamines.

22 Friday

Burglarized before 9:28 p.m.: a man’s vehicle at apartments in the 3900 block of West Northwest Highway.

23 Saturday

Stolen before 1:18 a.m.: a woman’s vehicle from Preston Royal Village.

Reported at 3:06 a.m., the first of two overnight burglaries at apartments in the 6800 block of Bandera Avenue. It occurred at a man’s home. In the second, reported at 1:13 p.m., a prowler forced entry into a woman’s home.

Stolen before 12:04 p.m.: a man’s vehicle at condos in the 6200 block of West Northwest Highway.

Shortly before 3:08 p.m., a thief took a man’s vehicle from Preston Forest Village.

24 Sunday

At 7:05 p.m., an unwelcomed visitor to the Gateway Church Dallas Campus on Hillcrest Road received a criminal trespassing warning.
