Faith Friday: 2022 Easter Services

There are plenty of churches hosting Easter services in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow. We have a sampling of some service options.

Northaven United Methodist Church will have a 6:45 a.m. sunrise service with communion in the celebration garden and an 11 a.m. sanctuary service. 

Good Shepherd Episcopal Church will have a 7 a.m. sunrise vigil service, a 9 a.m. outdoor family service with an Easter egg hunt following the service, and a 10:30 a.m. festival Eucharist service. 

Royal Lane Baptist Church will have service from 10:55 a.m. to noon. 

Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church will have a sunrise service from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., a morning service from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., another service at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Founders Hall in Dallas, and one from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.

Preston Hollow United Methodist Church will have a service from 10:30 a.m. to noon with an Easter egg hunt following the service.

Midway Hills Christian Church will have morning worship from 11:00 a.m. to noon.

St. Rita Catholic Church will have a 7:30 a.m. and a 9 a.m. service, a 10:45 a.m. service in the church and on the football field, a bilingual service at 12:30 p.m., and a service at 5 p.m. 

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will have services at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Lovers Lane United Methodist Church will have a 7 a.m. sunrise service, traditional worship services at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., crosswalk modern worship service, African fellowship, and traditional worship at 11 a.m.

Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church will have a service at 10:15 a.m. 

St. Monica Catholic Church will have Easter Vigil Mass at 8 p.m. April 16.

Gateway Church will have services at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., and 11 a.m.

First United Methodist Church Dallas will have Easter Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m. and a traditional Easter service at 10 a.m.

Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church will have a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service in their Garden Cloister, a traditional service at 7:30 a.m., a traditional service at 9 a.m. with a special service for children, a traditional worship service at 11 a.m., and another traditional worship service at 5:30 p.m.

The Park Cities Baptist Church will have services on the lawn at 7, 8, and 10 a.m., services at 9 and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, and Park Cities en Espanol worship in the great hall at 12:30 a.m.

Park Cities Presbyterian Church will have services at  8, 9:30, and 11 a.m.

Highland Park Presbyterian Church has a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service on their front lawn. Organ and brass services will be held at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. Contemporary services will be at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in Elliott Hall. An All Nations service will be held at 11 a.m. in Wynne Chapel. For children, there will be an 8 a.m event for children from two months to two years and 9:30 and 11 a.m. services for children aged two months to four years.

Highland Park United Methodist Church has services at sunrise in Arden Forest at 6:45 a.m., sanctuary worship at 8:30 a.m., and a service at SMU’s Moody Coliseum at 10:30 a.m. 

University Park United Methodist Church will have a sunrise service at 6:15 A.M., a worship service with communion at 8:45 a.m., traditional worship at 10 a.m., and a live-streamed service in the sanctuary at 11 a.m.

Northway Christian Church will have an Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m. on their south lawn and a service at 10:30 a.m. in their sanctuary.

Highland Country Fellowship will have services at 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.
