SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: DIY DISASTER?
It’s hard to do it right for less when someone’s done you wrong by taking your vehicle before 1:44 p.m. Dec. 11 from the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement store at Inwood Road near Forest Lane.
9 Monday
Before 4:06 p.m., a pickpocket pinched the credit cards out of a 30-year-old woman’s purse at an office in the 5600 block of Lovers Lane.
10 Tuesday
Police did not provide the reporting time for a theft at a home in the 5600 block of Stanford Avenue.
Taken before 12:11 p.m., a vehicle from in front of a home in the 6400 block of Prestonshire Lane.
Maybe get decaf next time and get it somewhere else. Before 1:23 p.m., a potentially violent unwelcome visitor got a criminal trespass warning at the Starbucks in Preston Forest Square.
Arrested at 7:38 p.m.: a 38-year-old man accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center and possession of drug paraphernalia.
11 Wednesday
Police did not provide the reporting time for a theft from a Tyler man at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Love Field on Northwest Highway.
Arrested at 4:25 p.m.: a 39-year-old man accused of shoplifting at the Buckle at NorthPark Center. Police said he also lied to officers and was wanted on warrants.
Arrested at 5:38 p.m.: a 20-year-old woman accused of shoplifting at Neiman Marcus at NorthPark Center.
Before 11:37 p.m., a burglar smashed the window of a vehicle at Inwood Village and stole the contents.
12 Thursday
Police did not provide reporting times for a theft from a home in the 4500 block of West Amherst Avenue and shoplifting at Nordstrom at NorthPark Center.
Burglarized before 9:38 a.m.: two vehicles at apartments in the 3900 block of West Northwest Highway.
At 10:49 a.m., the Frisco Police Department recovered a stolen vehicle at the Preston Valley Shopping Center.
Burglarized before 2:22 p.m.: a 43-year-old Garland woman’s vehicle at Preston Center.
Arrested at 5:25 p.m.: a 46-year-old man accused of criminally trespassing at NorthPark Center.
Before 9:07 p.m., a shoplifter took merchandise from Ulta Beauty at Inwood Village.
13 Friday
Reported at 10 a.m.: hit-and-run wreck in the parking lots at Medical City Children’s Hospital on Forest Lane.
Before 12:16 p.m. at a home in the 10700 block of Camellia Drive., a skilled burglar got into a vehicle without damaging it and remove items.
Arrested at 5:41 p.m.: a 39-year-old man accused of driving under the influence in the 9100 block of McCraw Drive.
Before 6:09 p.m., a 45-year-old woman visiting a home in the 5300 block of Farquhar Lane got bit by a dog.
Before 6:48 p.m., a burglar forced entry into a home in the 4600 block of Willow Lane and stole property.
14 Saturday
Arrested at 3:19 a.m.: a 21-year-old woman accused of driving while intoxicated in the 6000 block of LBJ Freeway.
Police did not provide the reporting time for vandalism in a parking lot at NorthPark Center.
Taken before 8:33 a.m.: property belonging to two construction companies from two homes in the 7300 block of Royal Circle.
Stolen before 8:42 a.m.: a vehicle from a home in the 6200 block of Norway Road.
Reported at 8:57 p.m.: a verbally abusive photographer on Dec. 13 snapped a few shots of a 48-year-old woman and threatened her at Campisi’s Restaurant on Lovers Lane.

Before 5:33 p.m., an ill-mannered lout spit on a 48-year-old woman in the 5900 block of LBJ Freeway.
