ESD Gets Lamplighter Fired Up About Robotics
ESD students will compete in an upcoming robotics competition, but first they showed off their tech skills to fourth graders at The Lamplighter School.
On Nov. 10, they came and explained the Lego Link competition with First Lego League, which consists of a robot game and a research project.
At Lamplighter, students learn how to use open-ended software and basic programming and by fourth grade are capable of creating moveable Lego inventions. Some look forward to being able to compete in these robotics competitions once they’re in the middle and upper schools.
