Hillcrest, W.T. White to Begin Volleyball Playoffs
The UIL volleyball playoffs begin tonight, with W.T. White and Hillcrest both looking to pull upsets in the bi-district round.
The Longhorns earned the fourth seed in District 9-6A by defeating Skyline twice last week, including a tiebreaker. Their reward is a matchup with 10-6A champion Richardson Pearce tonight at Carrollton R.L. Turner.
The Lady Panthers are the fourth seed from District 11-5A, meaning they will play state-ranked Rockwall-Heath, the champion from 12-5A. That match will be tonight at North Mesquite.
