Battle of Unbeaten Teams on Friday
The Parish Episcopal Panthers return home on Friday to take on Dallas Christian in a battle of 4-0 teams. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
Parish opened TAPPS Division II, District 2 play last Friday with a 48-14 win over Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill, while Dallas Christian dismantled Tyler Grace Community, 49-7. The Chargers beat the Panthers, 21-3, in last year’s meeting to give Parish its only district loss.
The Panthers have two of the top rushers in the are in Tre Vance (605 yards, 4 TD’s) and Zach Shelley (563 yards, 15 TD’s). Parish is averaging 451.8 yards per game.
