Lady Scots Back Home Tonight
After a perfect run through the first half of District 10-4A play, Highland Park’s volleyball team opens the second half with a 7 p.m. match against Carrollton Newman Smith tonight at Highlander Fieldhouse.
The Lady Scots (28-6, 7-0) are coming off a 25-14, 25-13, 25-12 sweep of Forney on Friday. Highland Park, ranked No. 7 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 4A state poll, beat Newman Smith in four in the first meeting on Sept. 7.
Highland Park has won nine of its last 10 matches.
