Scouts Give Goodies to Homeless

The Lamplighter School’s Girl Scout Troop 4904 finished up its Brownie journey by visiting Vogel Alcove’s child-care center with a few goodies.

Using money from cookie sales, the scouts purchased an iPad, 20 chalkboards, chalk, and more than 40 books for the center’s library. They also gave a presentation about the benefits of gardening and composting.

Vogel Alcove is an organization that provides free child development services for homeless children.
