History Buffs: Learn More About Fair Park
The Preston Royal Library Friends will host a program on Tuesday featuring Willis Winters, director of the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department, and the topic is an interesting one for local history aficionados.
Winters will bring his massive collection of photos, prints, and sketches about the history of Fair Park, emphasizing its renowned art-deco embellishments and architecture.
Winters is the author of six books and a winner of several public-service awards. The program, which is free and open to the public, begins at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s auditorium.
