United Way of Dallas Celebrates Supporters at Annual Awards
United Way of Metropolitan Dallas recently celebrated the
success of its annual fundraising efforts with an awards ceremony.
United Way honored 2017-2018 annual campaign chairman Troy Aikman and recognized more than 700 supporters and volunteers during the ceremony.
Concluding on June 30, the fundraiser is expected to exceed its goal of $60 million.
The funds will support United Way’s community aspirations, including preparing at least 60 percent of all high school graduates for success, permanently lifting 250,000 people out of poverty, and improving health and quality of life across North Texas.
