Howse to Sign ‘Zitface’
In March I met with University Park resident Emily Howse, who’s new ‘tween novel, Zitface, was picking up advance steam on the school-library circuit. The name still makes her laugh a little, said Howse, who’d planned to call it Breaking Out. Adolescence, of course, is no piece of cake. And thanks to a counseling background and a cache of her own memories, Howse doesn’t shy from the angsty, Noxema-tinged details.
Anyway, if you and yours missed our April 8 Park Cities People story about her (or even if you didn’t!), you can catch Howse in person this weekend at Barnes & Noble.
