HPISD Honors Aquatics, Wrestling, Music Students
The Highland Park ISD board of trustees celebrated students’ accomplishments during its March 25 meeting.
The meeting began with four Bradfield Broncos reciting the mission and vision statement and the pledges.
Highland Park educators and coaches then recognized 10 Scots who earned the State Champion All-State Musician title, 10 Scots who qualified for the UIL 5A Swimming and Diving State Championship, and the HP Wrestling team, who finished 8th overall at the UIL 5A Boys Wrestling State Tournament.
A special shoutout was given to Amin Elahmadi for bringing home the State Championship title in the 215-lb weight class.
