Rees Achieves National Doubles Ranking
Briana Rees, a former Highland Park tennis standout, has made an immediate impact as a freshman this season at Hillsdale College in Michigan.
After four straight match victories on the top line for the Chargers, Rees and playing partner Ane Dannhauser are ranked No. 22 in the country among all Division II women’s doubles tandems.
Rees, a finance major, also has been a regular contributor at the No. 3 singles position for Hillsdale. She was a four-year varsity player for HP during a career that included 5A team titles in 2020 and 2021, as well as a state tournament appearance in 6A girls singles in 2023.
