Top Experts on Women’s Health to Convene at The SHIFT Event

Award-winning filmmakers Sadhvi Siddhali Shree and Sadhvi Anubhuti set out to share the real stories behind the challenges women in midlife encounter.

Inspired by their own health experiences and the lack of awareness and advocacy for women’s health and perimenopause, the monks and spiritual teachers at Siddhayatan Spiritual Retreat Center in Texas, created BALANCE, a groundbreaking 4-part docuseries featuring the world’s top menopause experts. Produced through their nonprofit, Siddhayatan Tirth Productions, their mission to educate, advocate, and spark change — with hopes of bringing BALANCE to a major streaming platform for global impact — was launched.

A panel of top experts in women’s health will convene at the Tower Club Dallas on March 29, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., for The SHIFT movement. Keynote speaker Dr. Louise Newson, an award-winning educator, podcaster, and author, who has empowered a generation of women to have a greater understanding, choice and control over their health care treatment, bodies, and minds, will be the keynote speaker. Newson is also the founder of the free award-winning balance menopause support app.

“This isn’t just another health conference. It’s a bold, unapologetic movement designed to close the 20+ year gap in healthcare for midlife women,” said Park Cities resident Stephanie Collins, chair of The SHIFT.

Additional panelists include Dr. Lisa Larkin, Dr. Lauren Streicher, Dr. Sameena Rahman, Dr. Dina Peralta, Dr. Kamilia Smith, Dr. Alexandra Filingeri, and Dr. Amber Christopher.

“The SHIFT is bringing North Texas together for real conversations on midlife health. This event creates a safe space to break the silence, share knowledge, and drive meaningful change for women,” said Collins.

The SHIFT event and the transformative docuseries, BALANCE, hope to shine a light on women’s midlife health like never before, to make Texas, and Dallas specifically, the Center of Excellence for the Women’s Midlife Movement.

All proceeds from this SHIFT event will support the BALANCE Docuseries, produced by Siddhayatan Tirth Productions, a non-profit organization.
