SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: BURGLED BAG

A sneaky thief snatched a $3,000 Prada bag containing a $465 pair of Celine sunglasses, bank cards, keys, a makeup bag, and a gold bag containing vape supplies that was left on a table in The Conservatory in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive before 3:27 p.m. June 27.

HIGHLAND PARK

27 Monday

A purse pilferer took a wallet containing two credit cards, a debit card, and more from inside a Range Rover parked in the 3600 block of Harvard Avenue before 7:11 p.m. 

28 Tuesday

Reported at 2:32 p.m.: a careless driver hit the rear quarter panel of a Range Rover parked adjacent to Valentino in Highland Park Village with their passenger-side door, leaving a small dent, and they left the scene without providing information.

29 Wednesday

An officer found an abandoned stroller left on the sidewalk in Lakeside Park at Euclid Avenue and Lakeside Drive before 1 a.m.

Arrested at 4:09 a.m.: a 35-year-old man accused of public intoxication in the 4000 block of Douglas Avenue.

27 Monday

A robber took an undetermined amount of money from Prosperity Bank in Snider Plaza before 9:51 a.m.

28 Tuesday

A thief got into a Tesla parked in the 4000 block of Wentwood Drive and took more than $1,100 worth of items from inside before 3:12 p.m.

A crook took off in a Chevrolet Tahoe that was parked in the 8300 block of Preston Road before 8:45 p.m.

29 Wednesday

Wheeled away! Reported at 4:28 p.m.: a jerk took the wheels from a Chevrolet Deville sedan parked in the 3500 block of Northwest Parkway.

30 Thursday

A ne’er do well drove away in a Lincoln Aviator from the 4400 block of Larchmont Avenue before 3:50 a.m.

A jerk snagged more than $2,200 worth of stuff from a Tesla sedan parked in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane at 3:59 p.m.

A thief took a Ford F150 truck from a home in the 2800 block of Daniel Avenue before 3:45 p.m.

1 Friday

A pilferer made off with an MSI Stealth laptop and more from inside a Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the 6300 block of Hillcrest Avenue before 1:30 p.m.

3 Sunday

Arrested at 9:48 p.m.: a 21-year-old woman accused of possession of marijuana in the 3400 block of Rosedale Avenue.
