Ursuline Defender Signs with St. Mary’s
Ursuline senior Valerie Hover has signed to play soccer at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where she plans to study mechanical engineering.
Hover, a defender for the Bears, was recognized during a National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday in the school gymnasium. She is happy to continue playing the sport she loves at the college level.
“I don’t play for myself,” Hover said. “I play for the girls around me. I love the sisterhood that comes with playing soccer and the bond that I have with my teammates.”
