How Emma Watson Made a Surprise Visit To Sudie TAG Students

Some students in Richard Quadri’s theater class at Sudie Williams Talented and Gifted Academy got some pretty magical memories last week when Emma Watson of Harry Potter movie fame visited.

Sudie’s principal Michael Jackson said the visit was organized thanks to an unnamed parent’s connection to Watson, 31.

“The stars aligned, and in came the star,” Jackson said.

He said he and Quadri had planned the visit with the help of the parent and the students “lit up” when Jackson walked into the classroom with Watson.

“She was really forthcoming, transparent, and honest,” Jackson said. “Any question the students had, she answered.”

He said Watson answered questions about everything from her career to her favorite color and provided some acting advice.

“It was a lot of excitement,” Jackson added.

Sclafani’s New York Bagels and Sandwiches in Preston Center also got a visit from the actress and shared a photo of an autographed menu in which Watson declared the shop’s bagels “the best bagels in Dallas!”
