SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: TAKE IT EASILY

Did the car thief have to hot wire a vehicle stolen from the 6300 block of Waggoner Drive? Nope. The keys were still in it, according to a report made at 4 p.m. May 1.

DALLAS

29 Monday

Reported at 12:11 p.m.: A customer in the 5500 block of Mockingbird Lane did not pay for a delivery order from Old Hag Pizza and Pasta.

Reported at 1:15 p.m.: A vehicle was stolen from the 6800 block of Northwood Road.

A known shoplifter was issued a criminal trespass warning at 5:38 p.m. at NorthPark Center. 

30 Tuesday

Merchandise was stolen from Sephora at Preston Royal Village at 2:59 a.m.

Reported at 4:12 a.m.: A vehicle’s window was broken in an apartment parking lot in the 3800 block of Northwest Highway. Items were stolen from inside.

Reported at 8:44 a.m.: A vehicle’s window was broken and property stolen from inside near Sephora at Preston Royal Village on April 29.

Reported at 3:05 p.m.: Property was stolen from a vehicle at Providence Christian School on Lovers Lane.

Purses were stolen at 9:06 p.m. from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

1 Wednesday

Reported at 9:36 a.m.: A house at the 6200 block of Meadow Road was broken into, and property stolen, on April 30.

Reported at 12:02 p.m.: the burglary of a home in the 6900 block of Royal Lane.

Property was stolen from Salvatore Ferragamo at NorthPark Center at 1:16 p.m.

A house at the 5700 block of Stonegate Road was broken into at 2:41 p.m. and property was stolen.

A 36-year-old woman had a handgun pointed at her and an unknown object throwing on her vehicle at 3:02 p.m. in the 9100 block of Thackery Street. 

Property was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Shopping Center at 4:27 p.m.

2 Thursday

Reported at 1:05 p.m.: An unlocked vehicle parked at the 4800 block of Ridgeside Drive was stolen.

Reported at 2:38 p.m.: A wallet was found at the 5500 block of Ursula Lane on May 1.

Reported at 4:46 p.m.: Theft at the McDonald’s restaurant at North Dallas Tollway and Lovers Lane. Then reported at 5:38 p.m.: a vehicle was struck in the parking lot by a vehicle whose operator just drove away.

Reported at 5:19 p.m.: Money was stolen from someone at NorthPark Center and a criminal trespass warning was issued

Reported at 7:40 p.m.: A burglar broke a window at Kindred Spirits and Wine on Inwood Road.

3 Friday

Reported at 12:49 p.m.: Attempted theft of property from a truck parked in the 10000 block of Strait Lane on May 2.

Reported at 1:38 a.m.: After a 32-year-old Arlington man was pushed at Inwood Tavern in the 7700 block of Inwood Road, a 33-year-old man was arrested.

Reported at 5:50 p.m.: A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at the 6500 block of Royal Lane on May 2.

4 Saturday

Sometime after midnight: A door was forced open at CBRE on Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway and property was stolen.

A broken window on a vehicle was reported at 9:34 a.m. from the 3800 block of Northwest Highway. Property was stolen from inside the vehicle.

Reported at 8:54 p.m.: A vehicle was broken into at the 7000 block of Deloache Avenue.

Whoever struck a vehicle parked at a home in the 5800 block of Lupton Drive fled without leaving identification at 11:13 p.m.

5 Sunday

Sometime after midnight: A burglar stole property from the East Hampton Sandwich Shop on Inwood Road. The theft was reported on May 6.

Reported at 1:50 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen from the 4600 block of Gulfstream Drive on May 4.

Reported at 8:24 a.m.: A truck was stolen from an apartment parking lot in the 3800 block of Inwood Road on May 4.
