Shinyribs To Perform at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas Gala
Austin-based soul group Shinyribs will help set the “Under the Texas Moonlight” scene this month at a benefit gala for Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD)
Co-chaired by long-time volunteers April Cook and Alyson Engstrom, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. March 30 at The Hall on Dragon Street.
Immediate past board chair Doug Smellage and his wife, Ann, will serve as honorary Co-chairs for the 13th annual event.
“We’re delighted to have Shinyribs perform for our supporters at this year’s gala, bringing some of the magic and energy they do to their Austin City Limits appearances,” said Jill Cumnock, RMHD chief executive officer. “Between the Texas soul music, the elegant Texas chic attire, and guests who have hearts as big as Texas, we’re expecting another entertaining and beautiful evening that does a great amount of good for our families living at the House.”
To date, Under the Moonlight gala has raised more than $2 million for the families living at RMHD. Being presented for the second year by LiquidAgents Healthcare.
“We look forward to this gala every year to support the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and the many families that need their services,” said Jenny Hanlon, CFO and co-owner of LiquidAgents Healthcare. “Having a sick or hospitalized child can be heartbreaking; but RMHD gives hope, joy, and love to those who need it most. Every dollar raised means another family can be supported during a very difficult time in their lives.”
In addition to the Shinyribs, Under the Texas Moonlight will also include a live auction, dinner, and an open bar. Tickets and sponsorships are available (click here).
