Relays Boost Lady Scots in Coppell
Highland Park sophomore Ella Patterson was part of two medal-winning relay teams at the Coppell Relays, helping the Lady Scots to a fifth-place finish as a team.
Strong relay results highlighted a fifth-place finish for the Highland Park girls in the team standings at the Coppell Relays on Saturday.
The Lady Scots came in second place in the 4×200 relay and third in the 4×400 relay. Ella Patterson, who was part of both quartets, also placed fourth individually in the 200. Claire Cochran was third in the 100 hurdles, and Maddy Stephens finished fourth in the 800.
HP will next compete at the Richardson Invitational on Thursday, followed by the annual Tracy Wills Invitational on March 23 at Germany Park.
