SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: A NOT-SO MODEL EMPLOYEE

An employee (hopefully former) didn’t love IHeart Yogurt enough. Around 12:30 p.m. Aug. 7, management reported that said employee helped him or herself to more than a scoop of ice cream by stealing cash from the office at the Preston Oaks Shopping Center location.

DALLAS

30 Monday

An 85-year-old man was assaulted in his home in the 11500 block of Ricks Circle during a burglary.

31 Tuesday

C Store in the 11800 block of Inwood Road was burglarized around 11:20 p.m.

Merchandise was stolen around 2 p.m. from the Gap at the Preston Oaks Shopping Center.

Property was stolen around 3:50 p.m. from a home in the 11200 block of Leachman Circle.

A vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Nashwood Lane was burglarized around 6:30 p.m.

A purse in the staff storage area at Williams Sonoma in NorthPark Center was stolen around 7:05 p.m.

No burgers, fries, or steaks for the person issued a criminal trespass warning at 7:10 p.m. at Becks Prime in the 5900 block of Forest Lane.

1 Wednesday

A 36-year-old man was arrested around 11:27 a.m. for criminal trespass at the 711 in the 11800 block of Preston Road.

2 Thursday

Gucci employees reported a theft from the NorthPark Center location around 7:50 a.m.

Arrested at 3:29 p.m.: a 27-year-old woman for shoplifting from Dilliard’s at NorthPark Center.

A vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Southwestern Boulevard was burglarized sometime before 5:03 p.m.

A home in the 5200 block of Meadow Crest Drive was burglarized around 10:40 p.m.

3 Friday

Stolen before 5:22 a.m.: property from a vehicle parked in the 5800 block of Over Downs Drive.

A criminal trespass was issued around 10:15 a.m. at Preston Forest Square.

Property was stolen around noon from a Groves Electric job site in the 7000 block of Park Lane.

AC units were stolen before 12:20 p.m. from a New Leaf Custom Home job site in the 6800 block of Stitcher Avenue.

5 Sunday

A J Stiles Custom Homes job site in the 6800 block of Northport Drive was damaged and burglarized overnight before 7:40 a.m.
