NYC’s Mamoun’s Falafel Opens This Weekend

Known for being New York’s oldest falafel restaurant, family-owned Mamoun’s Falafel opens in Uptown this weekend.

The location at 3839 McKinney Ave. is the first outpost in Texas, with most opening slated for Chicago, Atlanta, and California. And good news, the same menu that made this restaurant a cult favorite on the east coast is making its way to Dallas, including falafel, baba ganouj, hummus, and shawarma.

Operating hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. The Dallas location’s grand opening party will begin at 11 a.m. on Feb. 10.
