Alcuin School has honored Todd and Amy Williams with the Ann R. Cox Award for Innovation in Education.

Todd Williams is founding chairman and executive director of the Commit! Partnership of more than 190 institutions focused on improving post-secondary completion levels across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He also serves as the education policy advisor to Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.

The award was presented during the third annual Alex Podeszwa Scholarship Luncheon, which raised nearly $100,000. The Alex Podeszwa Legacy Fund was established in memory of a student who died of cancer.

“Alex will always embody Alcuin’s spirit and mission,” said Walter Sorensen, head of school.
