10 MONDAY
At 3:10 p.m. a vandal caused damage to a vehicle in the 12800 block of Preston Road.

Between 7 and 8 p.m., a scoundrel stole a pickup tailgate from a vehicle in the 3800 block of West Northwest Highway.

Between 4 and 11:17 p.m., a burglar stole property at The Lamplighter School.

11 TUESDAY 
Between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 11, a burglar broke into two vehicles in the 4900 block of Mill Run Road and stole property.

Between 2 p.m. Oct 10 and 5:05 p.m. Oct. 11, a thief stole property from Cooper Fitness in the 12100 block of Preston Road.

Between 6:30 and 9:45 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 5000 block of West Lovers Lane and stole property.

12 WEDNESDAY
Between 7 and 7:50 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle at Inwood Village and stole property.

Between 9 and 10 p.m., a thief climbed the fence at Nicholson-Hardie Garden Shop in the 5700 block of West Lovers Lane and stole property.

13 THURSDAY 
Between 8 p.m. Oct. 12 and 9 a.m. Oct. 13, a thief entered a vehicle in the 10500 block of Barrywood Drive and stole property.

Between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle at Preston Center and stole a briefcase.

At 6:14 p.m., a shoplifter stole four phones from Verizon at Preston Center. 

14 FRIDAY
Between 9:15 p.m. Oct. 13 and 4:30 a.m. Oct. 14, a thief entered a vehicle in the 6600 block of Talmadge Lane and stole property.

15 SATURDAY
At 4:31 a.m., a robber stole property from a victim in the 11200 block of Midway Road.

16 SUNDAY
Between 11 p.m. Oct. 15 and noon Oct. 16, a thief entered a vehicle in the 6800 block of Brookshire Drive and stole property.

Between 1:05 and 1:45 p.m., a shoplifter stole merchandise from Apple at NorthPark Center. Laurence Osheigh Simpson, 54, was arrested on a charge of theft.

At 10:05 p.m., an assailant pushed a victim in the 5700 block of Over Downs Drive.

At 4:30 p.m., an assailant shot a victim with a paintball gun in the 6700 block of Glendora Avenue.
