Skulduggery of the week: Head & Shoulder, But Not Knees & Toes

At 5:49 p.m. on June 24, a shoplifter stole $77.94 worth of Head & Shoulder shampoo from Tom Thumb in the Plaza at Preston Center.

HIGHLAND PARK

21 TUESDAY

At 3 a.m., Jose Angel Miramontes, 19, of Dallas, and two minors were arrested in the 4400 block of Westway Avenue, and one minor was arrested in the 6100 bock of Cedar Springs Road on a charge of evading arrest.

Between 8 p.m. on June 20 and 4:30 p.m. on June 21, a thief entered a silver 2009 Lexus ES 350 in the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Drive and stole two $40 metal wire baskets, and a $350 Prince metal tennis racquet.

23 THURSDAY

At 10:46 a.m., a resident of the 3300 block of St. Johns Drive reported a lawbreaker stole three Chanel purses, each valued between $5,000 and $8,000, between January 2015 and June 20.

24 FRIDAY

Between 11:20 p.m. on June 23 and noon on June 24, a burglar broke into a gray 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe on Lorraine Avenue and stole the third-row seat.

25 SATURDAY

Between 10 p.m. on June 24 and 8 a.m. on June 25, a scoundrel stole the third-row seat from a black 2009 Cadillac Escalade in the 3500 block of Lexington Avenue. 

Between 11 p.m. on June 24 and 9 a.m. on June 25, a thief entered a building in the 4600 block of Beverly Drive and stole two $125 bottles of wine.

20 MONDAY

Between 3 p.m. on June 19 and 11:28 a.m. on June 20, a thief entered a black 2010 GMC Yukon in the 3400 block of Centenary Drive and stole the third-row seat.

Between 7:15 and 9:01 p.m., a thief stole a $400 bicycle at Snider Plaza. 

21 TUESDAY

Between midnight on June 1 and 2 p.m. on June 21, a scoundrel stole a $250 pair of earrings, a $400 necklace, a $600 necklace, a $750 necklace, a $1,200 watch, and a $2,000 bracelet from a house in the 2800 block of Fondren Drive.

Between 1:15 and 2 p.m., a thief entered a gray 2010 Audi Q5 in the 3400 block of Rosedale Avenue and stole $10 in prescription medication, $218 in miscellaneous property, a $700 Louis Vuitton wallet, $2,000 in cash, and a $2,500 Louis Vuitton purse.

22 WEDNESDAY

 At 7:20 a.m., a miscreant stole a $25,000 white 2011 Jeep Cherokee containing a $150 purse, a $350 Ruger handgun, a $600 Apple iPad, $1,200 in cash, and a $1,400 Apple iMac from the 2800 block of Fondren Drive.

At 12:33 p.m., a thief entered a white 2010 Mercedes in the 2900 block of Dyer Street and stole a $600 Taurus handgun. 

23 THURSDAY

Between midnight and 8:30 a.m., a lawbreaker stole the third-row seat from a white 2007 Chevrolet Suburban in the 4300 block of Stanhope Drive.

Between 8:30 p.m. on June 23 and 8:30 a.m. on June 24, a scoundrel stole the third-row seat from a gray 2012 Chevrolet Suburban in the 4500 block of Stanhope Drive.

24 FRIDAY 

At 3:15 p.m., Harland Ray Brooks, 56, of Branson, Mo., was arrested in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane on a charge of public intoxication.

25 SATURDAY

At 1:27 p.m., a burglar broke into a gold 2012 Chevrolet Suburban in the 3500 block of Greenbrier Drive and stole a $200 pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and a $300 radar detector.

At 5:49 p.m., a shoplifter stole $77.94 worth of Head & Shoulder shampoo from Tom Thumb in the Plaza at Preston Center.

 At 10:47 p.m., am armed robber stole $4 in keys, and a $500 Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone from a Shell gas station in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane. At 10:55 p.m., the robber stole a $100 purse from a victim in the 6300 block of Preston Parkway. Dallas police took the scoundrel into custody on unknown charges.

26 SUNDAY

Between 8 p.m. on June 25 and 2 a.m. on June 26, a vandal caused $1,000 in damage to a gray 2016 Dodge Challenger in the 6000 block of Auburndale Avenue.

    Sounds like this shoplifter was a bit… flaky.
