Lake Leads HP Past Wildcats
Highland Park remained unbeaten in District 10-6A play with a 5-2 road win over Lake Highlands on Thursday.
Sawyer Lake recorded 12 strikeouts and Kyle Burnett tallied a pair of big hits as the Scots (15-5, 4-0) won their 12th consecutive game. Lake shut out Richardson Pearce last week.
HP hasn’t allowed more than two runs in any of its league games. The Scots will continue 10-6A play with two games next week, including Mesquite on Tuesday and Richardson on Friday.
