Teenager Arrested For Hurley Way Murder
A man was murdered two weeks ago in his home in the 9900 block of Hurley Way, but apparently nobody knew about it until yesterday, when a teenage suspect was taken into custody for the grisly crime.
The Dallas Morning News has some details about the bizarre incident, which evidently involved a 17-year-old student at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton stabbing the homeowner to death on Dec. 6, then giving some details to skeptical classmates a couple of times since.
The witnesses did some investigating of their own, which led to the discovery of the body on Sunday and the subsequent arrest of Marcos Andres Jimenez by Dallas police on capital murder charges. The motive is unknown.
