Winston Breaks Ground on Arts Building
The Winston School broke ground on their new Center for the Arts Building Nov. 12 as part of the school’s celebration of its 40th year.
The project, a $4 million expansion, consists of a 11,360-square foot building with a 240+ seat auditorium, a theater, music classroom, recording studio, and a 3D art and scene shop art gallery to display the students’ work.
Head of School Rebbie Evans said that while other schools are reducing support for such programs, The Winston School celebrates them.
