Today Is Margaret McDermott Day
The Town of Highland Park has officially proclaimed that Dec. 3 2015 be recognized as Margaret McDermott Day.
In honor of her countless efforts and continuous commitment to the Highland Park community, Mayor Joel T. Williams has appointed McDermott as “Mayor-for-the-Day.”
If you’re attending the Highland Park Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, be sure to attend the presentation of the town proclamation at 7 p.m. tonight.
