YMSL Awarded for Service Helping Kids
Vogel Alcove, an organization that provides child care and preschool activities for homeless families, awarded The Highland Park chapter of the Youth Men’s Service League with the “Kids Helping Kids” award Oct. 30 at the Ambassadors of Hope Awards Luncheon.
The boys in the YMSL were recognized for their “Ultimate Gift” project which included a winter clothing drive and fall festival to benefit the children of Vogel Alcove. Parents shopped for winter clothes and shoes for the family while children played at the festival.
