HPHS Volunteers Helping Kids in Need
The Highland Park High School Community Service Council is going to make a difference on Saturday.
That’s when the student group will hold its annual Make a Difference Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Voice of Hope Ministries, a nonprofit organization that helps children in impoverished Dallas families. The HPHS volunteers will serve Thanksgiving dinner to almost 250 families, and will also decorate and conduct activities for kids.
The CSC has various events throughout the year to help out in the community, including another Make a Difference Day in April.
