Lamplighter Girl Scouts Clean Up Creek
Lamplighter School Junior Girl Scouts picked up trash along the Lamplighter creek that feeds into Bachman Lake Oct. 9.
The girls filled five garbage bags with plastic and other trash as part of their new Journey program. The program encourages the girls to be agents of change. The first lesson was focused on waste pollution in water sources.
