This week Teach for America Dallas-Fort Worth is hosting 20 educators from the organization Enseña por México (Teach For Mexico) as part of a Classrooms Without Borders exchange. Teachers will work together for the second year in a row to develop and share teaching methods to ensure their students’ success.
Both organizations are part of the Teach For All network, an educational network founded by HPHS grad Wendy Kopp. She also founded Teach For America.
“We are excited to welcome Enseña por México back to the Dallas Metroplex this year,” said Alex Hales, executive director of Teach For America Dallas-Fort Worth.”Through this collaboration comes professional development for every teacher involved as they share successes, challenges and solutions, as well as learning opportunities for the students who will learn from Enseña por México teachers this week.”
