Equinox to Sponsor Fun Fit Day For Kids
Heart of a Warrior Charitable Foundation will team up with Equinox on Friday for its annual Fun Fit Day, which promotes exercise for children in kindergarten through seventh grade.
Trainers from the Equinox locations in Preston Hollow and on Oak Lawn will join students of the Young Warrior Summer Learning Program from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Philip’s School and Community Center in Dallas.
The event will include basketball drills, obstacle courses, tug-of-war and other activities. It also will focus on healthy eating habits, and will include a nutritious lunch.
By the way, the Equinox location in Preston Hollow is still accepting backpacks for its Kids Club summer backpack drive through July 25.
