Residents Can Get Sam’s Club Update Tonight
Construction of a new Sam’s Club will be the primary topic at a meeting of the Glen Meadow Estates Homeowners Association tonight.
The meeting is open to all residents of Glen Meadows Estates, Rosser Park and Las Colonitas, and will begin at 7 p.m. in the private party room at Midway Point Restaurant.
Steve McCoy, project manager for EMJ Corp., will update residents on the demolition of the Northridge and Spanish Point apartment complexes, as well as the Midway Road shopping center, and provide information on construction of the upcoming Sam’s next to Walmart at the southwest corner of Midway and LBJ Freeway.
The project also is affecting residents along the alley between Flintridge Drive and Harvest Hill Road, who can vote at the meeting whether to temporarily make the alley a one-way for about 90 days while EMJ builds a retaining wall.
