Hillcrest, W.T. White Academic Decathlon Teams Advance

The academic decathlon teams from Hillcrest and W.T. White high schools were among the regional qualifiers from the Dallas ISD academic decathlon competition on Nov. 16 at Conrad High School.

The regional competition will be held in January. Ten other teams from DISD also advanced to the regional level, including those from Spruce, Sunset, Molina, Conrad, Bryan Adams, and Madison high schools. Also advancing were teams from the School for the Talented and Gifted, the School of Science and Engineering, and the School of Health Professions at Ewell Townview Center, as well as the Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School.
