Lady Scots to Face Samuell in Area Round

The Highland Park volleyball team will take on Samuell in the area round at 6:30 tonight at Forester Fieldhouse. The winner will play Frisco Centennial (35-7) in the regional quarterfinals next week.
The Lady Scots (37-7) beat Frisco Heritage, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12, 25-20, in bi-district, while the Lady Spartans (21-10) knocked off Molina, 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.
Highland Park is ranked No. 2 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 4A state poll.
