LBJ Expert to Speak at SMU
I’ve long been fascinated by Robert Caro, because he’s been so fascinated by Lyndon Johnson for much longer. Caro has spent decades working on a four-volume series of biographical doorstops called The Years of Lyndon Johnson. I’ve never read any of them, but the man’s dedication to his subject is nonetheless impressive. Caro will be at McFarlin Auditorium this evening to present the Anita and Truman Arnold Lecture in SMU’s Willis M. Tate Distinguished Lecture Series.
Should be a great lecture tonight. His work on Robert Moses is also fascinating.
He was terrific!
