There’s All Sorts of New Things at NorthPark
I’ve been a patron of NorthPark Center for decades. But it wasn’t until yesterday that I saw a fellow patron sporting an “I’m So Gay I [Crap] Rainbows” T-shirt. And to wipe that stereotypical image from your mind’s eye, the T-shirt was worn by an overweight black woman. Stay classy, lady.
In other NorthPark news, a pair of furnishing stores known as Arhaus and Fixtures Living are taking over the second-floor space formerly occupied by Barney’s New York. And a J. Crew Men’s Shop is going in, not far from the existing J. Crew.
Why would ANYONE wear a shirt like that? I hope that woman is neither a registered voter or a mother.
Two other NorthPark anecdotes:
1. If you’re looking for a Clayton Kershaw action figure, the folks at Puzzle Zoo have several.
2. I took my relatively new glasses to Lens Crafters to complain about what appeared to be a permanent stain. A clerk told me the boys in the lab said the coating on my lens was deteriorating, and she asked if I had exposed my glasses to hair-care products. I just looked at her and smiled. The last time I used hair-care products was prior to the first time I used the Internet.
I thought you were going to say you just smiled because of the ridiculous theory that the coating of their glasses, which last I knew were worn on the head, couldn’t come in contact with hair care products, which last I knew are put on hair, which also happens to be on ones head(except yours).
